Thanks to a gift from Dr. Carl Stocker, we are a fully equipped observatory and teaching center. Using South Florida's only research-grade telescope, we train students in astronomical observations and investigate objects from the nearby solar system to distant galaxies. As a formal chapter of the National Space Society, this affiliation strengthens FIU's role in advancing space exploration, education and innovation, while providing new opportunities for collaboration, advocacy, and community engagement in the space sector.
