Who is eligible?

Physics majors who have a GPA > 3.2 (HS) if a freshman, or college if an FIU upper classman student GPA in physics/astronomy/math

Applications will also be judged on economic need.

Responsibilities of the recipient: must be enrolled and stay enrolled at FIU during the time they hold the scholarship and must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above. They must participate in public outreach during the year they hold the scholarship.

How to apply - Submit a current transcript and calculate your GPA in science and math courses. Supply an essay outlining your financial need, mention your past achievements and outline your future plans in astronomy. Submit all materials to Dr. Webb by March 15.
