Over 100 students serendipitously show up for Lunar Eclipse at Stocker Astroscience center

On Monday morning, 3:00 am, students passing by the observatory were invited up to watch not only the eclipse, but also look at telescopic views of the planets Saturn and Mars through large telescopes. This event, totally unplanned, resulted in over 100 students sharing the experience of witnessing the Lunar eclipse, and also seeing Saturn and Mars like most of them had never seen before, in person and close up through large telescopes.
