Dr. Webb was invited to give a talk at the 29th annual Southern Cross Winter Star Party which talk place on Scout Key overlooking the Atlantic ocean. It was a beautiful day, and the talk introduced the Stocker AstroScience center to the audience. Dr. Webb also described his research on Blazars and how the new science center would be a home for research, teaching and outreach in astronomy at FIU. After the talk, Dr. Webb visited several of the large telescopes that evening including Tim Khan's setup. On Friday, Dr. Webb took the winter star party stage before the awards ceremony and entertained the international group with 3 songs from his new CD which is in progress.
